This June, Mentally United was honored to partner with two vibrant church communities to lead powerful workshops on mental wellness: one at the United Women of Faith “Spiritual Day” event, and the other at Arvada United Methodist Church. Together, these two workshops reached over 60 participants and allowed us to distribute more than 300 free mental health resources, including wellness fidgets, educational tools, emotion regulation materials, and faith-rooted affirmations.
✨ June 7 – United Women of Faith: “When the Noise Is Too Loud”
Hosted at Smoky Hill United Methodist Church and organized by United Women of Faith, the Spiritual Day gathering brought together women of all ages under the theme of “Make a Joyful Noise.”
Mentally United led two breakout sessions titled “When the Noise Is Too Loud”, offering a deep, compassionate look at the invisible pressures many women carry, from caregiving burnout to generational silence and emotional overwhelm.
Each session guided participants through:
Identifying emotional triggers and hidden stress patterns
Exploring the impact of internalized expectations and perfectionism
Reframing breakdowns as breakthroughs
Practicing tools for resilience, groundedness, and joy
The workshop created space for vulnerability, reflection, and rediscovery and reminded participants that even in their quietest moments, their inner voice matters.

⛪ June 21 – Arvada United Methodist Church: Mental Health & Faith Connection
Two weeks later, Mentally United was welcomed at Arvada United Methodist Church to lead another workshop, blending spirituality and emotional wellness.
The session explored:
How faith can help ground emotional regulation
Identifying emotional triggers and hidden stress patterns
Normalizing conversations around depression, anxiety, and caregiving stress
Providing tools for managing overwhelm with compassion and grace
The conversations sparked during and after the session showed us once again how vital it is to bring these discussions into trusted, spiritual spaces.
We’re deeply grateful to United Women of Faith and Arvada United Methodist Church for inviting us in and trusting us to hold space with your communities. A heartfelt thank-you to Marcia Canter for making this connection possible.
Thank you for opening your doors, your hearts, and your platforms to real, healing conversations that matter. Your commitment to emotional well-being is bringing these conversations to the spaces where they’re needed most and we’re proud to walk this path with you. And like always, Stay United!!!
