In June 2025, Mentally United proudly attended Psychedelic Science 2025 in Denver, Colorado, as an official Community Partner. Hosted by MAPS, the world’s largest psychedelic conference brought together over 4,000 attendees, including scientists, therapists, advocates, and storytellers from across the globe, to explore the future of healing through psychedelics. For us, Psychedelic Science wasn’t just an opportunity to attend, it was a moment to contribute, lead, and connect.
🎤 Our Workshop: Harnessing Media and Resource Building to Educate, Empower, and Destigmatize Psychedelics
As part of our participation, Mentally United hosted an official workshop attended by over 33 individuals titled: “Harnessing Media and Resource Building to Educate, Empower, and Destigmatize Psychedelics.”
The session explored how media, storytelling, and digital tools can serve as powerful bridges between scientific research, lived experience, and public awareness.

We led a conversation on:
How media can connect science and lived experience for broader public understanding
Ways to transform complex psychedelic research into accessible educational tools
The role of infographics, podcasts, short films, and digital campaigns in shifting stigma
Why multilingual content and cultural inclusion are critical in educational work
The ethical responsibility of media creators in addressing misinformation and reducing harm
Participants included therapists, educators, media professionals, and community advocates. all working to make psychedelic education more responsible, inclusive, and effective.
🎥 Filming Our Documentary: The Journey - Psychedelics
Throughout the five-day conference, our media team also filmed over 30 hours of footage and conducted 25+ in-depth interviews with attendees, including clinicians, business owners, indigenous leaders, researchers, and those with lived experience. This content will become the foundation of our upcoming documentary, The Journey - Psychedelics., a film exploring the history, ethics, science, and stories behind psychedelics and their role in modern healing.
The documentary will launch later this year across our platforms.
Our time at Psychedelic Science 2025 affirmed what we’ve always believed: storytelling and accessible education are essential tools in transforming how society understands healing. As a grassroots nonprofit, we were honored to represent the voices of communities often left out of the conversation.
We leave the conference energized, connected, and more committed than ever to making sure that psychedelic healing is ethical, inclusive, and truly for everyone.
Keep an eye out for updates on our upcoming documentary — and like always, stay united.
